We thought we'd try something new this year. We wanted to make sure that the albums that were the most important to us got the attention that we felt they deserve. They are albums that made a lasting impression on us this past year. They are albums that gave us a new perspective on music and we wanted to share them with you. So each of us picked four albums and we wrote about them without ranking them in any kind of order.
