Best Albums |
We thought we'd try something new this year.
We wanted to make sure that the albums that were the most important to us got the attention that
we felt they deserve. They are albums that made
a lasting impression on us this past year. They are albums that gave us a new perspective on music
and we wanted to share them with you. So each of us picked four albums and we wrote about them without
ranking them in any kind of order.

After a Hot Day: |
The Gorillaz are a "virtual hip-hop group." They do a great job of creating dreamy,
techno music, but still be able to keep it structured. If you like the more creative and random
side of the Gorillaz and Damon Albarn then you're going to love the next few songs that I am going to talk about.

A few months ago, we all got excited about the idea of making a list of our favorite albums.
As critics, we are often forced to look at the quality and creativity of an album rather than
just enjoy the music. This gives us a chance to relax and think about our favorite music
