This one's for anyone who is a true Gorillaz fan. The Gorillaz, the brainchild of musician, Damon Albarn (formerly of Blur) and illustrator, Jamie Hewlett (most famous for the comic Tank Girl) are a "virtual hip-hop group." They do a great job of creating dreamy, techno music, but still be able to keep it structured. If you like the more creative and random side of the Gorillaz and Damon Albarn then you're going to love the next few songs that I am going to talk about, which were not included on their self-titled album or Demon Days.

First, we have the Gorillaz G-Sides album. This is pretty much a Gorillaz version of a B-sides to their self-titled debut album. It includes a few cool remixes and unreleased tracks and of the nine tracks, two stand way out, in my opinion. "The Sounder" shows off their rap skills. I feel this is the only Gorillaz song that can be qualified as a true hip-hop track and it's just great! Next we have the most simple Gorillaz song you will ever hear, "12d3". It only contains a few simple guitar chords which are then repeated and a simple vocal of which Albarn repeats 1-2-d-3. Only the Gorillaz could make something so simple and yet very enjoyable.

Next we have a fabulous instrumental track that they also recorded during their first album. The song is called "Faust" and can be found on the Rock the House, Pt. 1 single. It is a very simple electronic beat for about two and a half minutes and in which it is accompanied by a beautiful Japanese melody, then in its final stage the Japanese is interrupted by Albarn's voice saying "After a Hot Day." Yet again, simple but amazing.

The last song that is also a part of my "B-sides" Gorillaz set is off of the Kids with Guns/El Manana single. The softest and most soothing Gorillaz track you will ever hear. I wish "Stop the Dams" would have been on the Demon Days album because I feel it really fits in with their other songs and yet gives the fans a new taste. My favorite part of this song is also the first line that really sets the mood for the song. I'd tell it to you but I'd rather you listen to it so you truly get the same experience that I got.

Well, there you go, I guess. There are many more songs by the Gorillaz which I have not mentioned but those four were my favorites. If you really like the Gorillaz I suggest you check them all out, from their singles to the great G-Sides album. They are all unique and good in their own special way. Some might not be easy for the common ear to listen to, but with patience and respect for the artist, you will love what Damon Albarn has to offer on all these "side" songs that never made it on an album.
