What comes to mind when someone says "southern rap"? We probably think of the hugely popular mainstream movement from Lil' Jon to Chamillionaire, but we should be thinking of these guys. A Piece of Strange is the Cunninlynguist's third album and definitely their best. Kno really stepped his game up on the production side, making this CD complete with incredible and complex beats. There is even an instrumental track on the album that truly shows just how Kno and his production has matured. The songs "Nothing to Give" and "You Never Knew" which features Immortal Techniques are just a couple of tracks that really stand out on this intelligent album. A Piece of Strange is the best southern rap album since Outkast's Stankonia.
