by Tim Mathiesen I have yet to experience the musical world of Rilo Kiley. The small amount that I have heard is very impressive. Jenny Lewis, the lead vocalist of Rilo Kiley, was approached by Conor Oberst (Bright Eyes), whose Saddle Creek records distributed the second Rilo Kiley album, The Execution of All Things. Oberst asked her to record an album for his new label, Team Love. The result is a gorgeous alt-country/amaricana indie rock album that's so cute, you can't help but enjoy yourself. Competing for critics attention opposite Cat Powers' album, The Greatest, Jenny Lewis will most likely lose, but I can guarantee that Rabbit Fur Coat will put listeners in a spunkier mood.
